Tailored lessons focused on you
After years of trying various lesson types, I have firmly settled on one-to-one lessons for all my students. In these lessons, my students are able to get my full, focused attention. Students who have been with me for years in one-to-one lessons are often best equipped to begin higher level studies especially for content-intensive subjects like English. Students who have come from group classes with other tutors often comment on the tangible difference.
The majority of my one-to-one students prefer online, but in-person spots are also available.
Offered in two modes: exclusive and shared
Exclusive Lessons
In exclusive 1-to-1 lessons, the student will be the only one taking up the entire lesson slot.
Shared Lessons
In shared 1-to-1 lessons, I have 2 students in the same time slot (often one in-person and one online, or both online) who don't see or interact with each other over the course of the lesson. I rotate my attention between them – while one student works on a task, I help the other student.
Please note that this is not the same as a group lesson. Shared lessons are simply a more affordable option for anyone on a budget who was hoping for 1-to-1 attention.
Pricing & Lesson Types
Fees for start from as low as $80 per hour for shared lessons and $95 per hour for exclusive lessons, but vary depending on whether you're looking for English or maths tutoring, what year the student is in, whether you'd prefer online or in-person, as well as my availability.
